How to elegantly step down stairs…

You wouldn’t believe how difficult it is to take pictures while you walk down some stairs looking elegant at the same time… With the automatic mode of my camera 10 pictures are taken in a row – clack-clack-clack… But either my hair are strange due to the movement or the wind or my legs are in a funny position or sometimes I forget to spit out my chewing gum first and are making funny faces…IMG_5880 IMG_5879 IMG_5874 IMG_5872 IMG_5870 IMG_5863

This dress is my last weekend’s project. Ideally I intended it to wear for the theater next week but now when it is done I am not so sure about it anymore. I don’t know if this is “evening suitable” though it is a slightly shimmering lurex jersey.
Additionally it tends to shift up and so I am constantly busy to pull it back in its correct position …IMG_5831
I danced classic ballet for more than 30 years of my life therefore I know that to go to a ballet performance doesn’t require such an elegant dress code. It is more a creative style to wear for it – like the ballet people would wear theirselves…
I’ll see – maybe the look gets more evening-like with different heels, a clutch and a different styling. I don’t know.
What would you say?
