Majestic surrounding for my Malene Birger inspired dress

IMG_8279In my last post I told you already that I am totally addicted to historical places…This time I am at the castle of Bruchsal – so beautiful! – and I love this atmosphere in summer mornings when the air is still a little fresh and the mild sun just kisses your skin; people mostly are very friendly as not yet stressed due to the heat. Really a wonderful mood 🙂

As you can easily see on my dress: I should have taken a pleating iron with me today…Although I love to wear silk fabrics, their biggest disadvantage is the fact that they creases very quick and easily. The time in my car to drive there was enough to completely wrinkle the skirt part… But anyhow it is perfect for summer days – though when I double-checked my pictures today I realized that the dress might look even better when being a little shorter. The next rainy day will be reserved for such revisions like this – but with 35°C I prefer sitting outside in the garden instead of my sewing room.

My crumpled look of the day is nothing more than my Malene Birger inspired dress
