ELLE – Vogue – DKNY – Victoria Beckham

What do these four have in common?IMG_0966

This week I bought the September issue of the ELLE Magazine. In there was an outfit inspiration with a lovely flare dress by Victoria Beckham. A few days before I coincidentally ordered a Vogue pattern by DKNY to sew almost the same flare dress like the one of Victoria Beckham shown in the ELLE…IMG_0944

Do you remember my daughter’s Abiball dress? I wasn’t sure about the fabric and bought two “sets” of fabrics and linings. So I still kept about 6m of black cupro and 2m of a fine cotton lining – I even had a matching zip for dresses in my portfolio.
– Obviously this dress wanted to be sewn very urgently …when I was done with it, I instantly understood why…!

The pureness and elegance of the dress is really amazing! I also love to style it exactly in this pure and clean way with very little accessoires and my new bag (a gift from my husband for my birthday) by Balenciaga.

Unfortunately I couldn’t find this particular dress by Victoria Beckham in the internet, so I choose a similar one by Jason Wu. And also my bag by Balenciaga wasn’t available in those online shops I normally select item from for my suggestions. But I guess I found alternatives coming very close to my DIYs look of today.

My suggestion:Präsentation1

  1. Dress by Jason WU
  2. Sunglasses by Tod’s
  3. Bag by Balenciaga
  4. Shoes by Sergio Rossi
  5. Earrings by Maison Margiela
